It was only a matter of time before whiskey jumped on the flavoured spirit bandwagon, and it is Jim Beam to take the first shot at it. 

Everyone has had Chambord on there BackBar for decades. Wether you liked the orb-shaped bottle or not, it has always been distinctive.  The new bottle definitely jumps out even more and feels like a stronger brand.

Who's heard or witnessed any "Icing" or "bros icing bros" this summer?

Alberta Premium Rye Whisky never seems to stop impressing me. Not only does it receive constant accolades for being one of the best Canadian whiskies, and the fact it is one of the only true 100% Canadian ryes on the market, but mainly because it's price always loiters around the $23 mark, and with my Scottish roots, I'm a man who appreciates good value.

It has always been hard in BC to find cocktail accessories, such as bitters (other than Angostura), syrups, cordials and the like. One company that provides a wide range of these items to a high standard is Fee Bros Company from New York, who have been in business since 1864.

With the World Cup underway in South Africa, BC shows just how lame it really is. With many of the games as early as 4.30am and 7.00am it is awkward enough to get to watch these games without being told you're not allowed to have a beer until 9.00am. 

Only a few days until the World's greatest sporting event gets underway in South Africa. And once again Vancouver gets shafted by having to watch live games at ridiculous times of the day, 4.30am, 7.00am and the more reasonable 11.30am. Either way you need to be in a bar getting your chant on!! So where to go?

With more restaurants seeing the value in social media and how it can be used to promote their businesses and engage socially with people who are current customers or potential new customers.
