THE FOUNDRY IN SHOREDITCH SET FOR DEMOLITION

The Foundry in Shoreditch, London is set to be demolished to make way for an 18 storey hotel. This is indeed sad news, for anyone who has had the experience of boozing in the alternative Pub / Gallery.

SUPER STYLISH GLASS HIP FLASKS

Came across these super stylish glass hip flasks from Kit Paulson. I must say i'm always grateful when a hip flask finds it's sweet way to my lips, but i can't say i've ever owned or carried one myself. But these make me want to start.

On Saturday night I popped down to the newly opened Bao Bei. I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful rooms I have been in for ages.

NICK'S TOP FIVE #3 - Choice Drunk "Hoff" Shots

 

So for this instalment of Nick's Top Fives, I've turned to David Hasselhoff. 'The Hoff' has had some rather choice drunken moments caught on camera, so I thought I'd share them with you all. Don't get me wrong, I love the Hoff….I loved Knight Rider, well I loved the car…..I loved Baywatch, well I loved Pam Anderson…I loved America's Got Talent, well no I didn't. Well we love your drunk ass anyway David….

THE MAIN EVENT

It's East meets West during the 2010 Main Event, an array of Main Street's top restaurants will be offering three-course tasting menus for set prices of $25, $35 and $45. All restaurants will join the fight against hunger by donating a percentage of their food receipts from this tasty, week long event to a great cause, The Greater Vancouver Food Bank. 

NEW SCOTCH HITS THE MARK

I came across a new product that really intrigued me the other day. It comes from the maker's of Famous Grouse blended scotch and is called Black Grouse. The name comes from a collaboration with the RSPCA to try to protect this particular species of grouse, the 'black grouse'.
