ZUBROWKA BRAND
It is not my place to criticise a fine spirit brand, but I can have a rant I suppose. For years Zubrowka has this bad ass bottle (right). It was always my favourite bottle. They obviously decided it was time for a brand update, so they created this 'pretty' bottle (left). Unfortunately it was the first to grace the shores of Canada, what a bad first impression. Is it just me, or is it sweeter as well? Perhaps they have changed their target market, you decide?
Nevertheless it is good stuff.

I agree, the old label oozed punchy attitude and nicely Eastern European. No doubt some brand manager decided a more pond life label would help boost sales. What a shame!
