NEW CRAFT COCKTAIL BOOK

Later this month, Tony Abou-Ganim will be launching his first cocktail book, 'The Modern Mixologist: Contemporary Classic Cocktails'. Tony is widely recognized in the bar world as front player in the cocktail renaissance over the last 20 years. So with his vast experience from New York, San Francisco and Las Vegas, it was only a matter of time as to when he'd release his first book.
I'm told the book offers up a little cocktail history, flavour profiles and bar techniques through Tony's eyes and goes on to share in 60 of his very best recipes together with food pairings, stories and anecdotes. Aimed at home cocktail makers and professionals alike, it sets to introduce it's readers to the craft cocktail movement.
In a world full of cocktail books, good and bad, it's vitally important for cocktail history to document trends and opinions over time. And with Tony's wealth of knowledge, this should be a good one.
The book is being launched on February 25th at the Delano Hotel in Miami and we wish Tony all the best with it. You can find out how to purchase the book as well as further information on his website.
Wow, managed to write a piece without mentioning the bloody Olympics!
